I'm now on Day 5 after my Halo and after significant MENDS, I am almost clear. My area of concern was lip lines and it does seem that they have perhaps softened but at least the deepest one is still there. The rest of my face is baby smooth and feels wonderful. I understand results continue to improve and people are generally very pleased in a month... my question is will lip lines (or wrinkles) continue to improve in the next month or is the continual improvement just in the glow of the skin?

Answer: Lip Lines and HALO Your lip lines will continue to improve as time goes on. The effects of HALO on collagen production to fill in the lip lines takes time, as much as 6-9 months to see full effect. HALO works well on lip lines but not if the are super deep. They will get better, but sometimes a full field deep laser resurfacing is what will give the most dramatic effect, but the tradeoff is a much longer recovery than HALO. Hope your lines look great and they go away!

Answer: Halo and lip lines Hi there, as the practice might have educated you on the halo procedure, like you rightly mentioned the first 5 days you will mostly see only mends coming out. The whole process of collagen stimulation is just starting to happen and you could see results in 8 to 10 weeks. Lip lines are slower to react and a second Halo is always recommended after 8-10 weeks.
