I'm a 31yr old female, overall healthy. I have incomplete right bundle branch block. Am I a candidate for Rhinoplasty?

No other health issues. No prior mi or heart disease. As far as I know I have had irbbb since 2007 (old ECG). Family dr says ok to go for septoplasty/ rhinoplasty. Going to a cardiologist to get a clearance too. Is those procedure risky for me?

It is important to receive a cardiologist clearance prior to undergoing elective cosmetic surgery with an incomplete bundle branch block. It is also important to share that information with your physician anesthesiologist and a rhinoplasty surgeon prior to undergoing the procedure.

Overall a partial RBBB is not a serious issue compared to a LBBB.  It would depend on the reason you had a bundle branch block.  As mentioned cardiology clearance would be recommended.  In addition Rhinoplasty can be done under straight local anesthesia in that case there would be the lowest anesthetic risk.

Safety is the most important issue when undergoing an elective procedure.  Having a medical clearance from your primary care physician, along with a cardiologist is mandatory, along with any additional testing the cardiologist may want.  Recommendations will be made to optimize your perioperative care to your surgeon and anesthesiologist.  If all these things are performed appropriately, it will minimize your risks for your surgery.  Your surgeon will likely ensure that all these things are done before surgery satisfactorily before proceeding.
