Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy post-op?

There are also some contra-indications to hyperbaric chambers, so a discussion with your medical provider is important before considering these treatments.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) will definitely help speeding up the wound healing. However, please keep in mind that HBOT also has its own complications and need a specialist to take care of you before, during and after the HBOT. In my opinion, HBOT has benefits more than risk in patients with non-healing ulcers on their extremities because that is a life-threatening condition. Even without the HBOT, most hair transplant wound heals properly.
