7 months after FUE hair transplant. How does my outcome look? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I think we need the photos before you received the hair transplant in order to compare if this is good or not.

Coarse, dark, frizzy transplanted hairs 10 months post FUE? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I am sorry to hear what you are going through. However, this can still be fixed by removing the multiple-hair grafts along the hairline and transplantation single-hair grafts instead.

Will a hair transplant help lower my hairline so that my forehead size is reduced? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Absolutely yes! Hair transplant can reduce your forehead height 1-1.5 cm for sure. But I think you look very beautiful at the moment already.

Can I not use minoxidil?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I would recommend correcting serum ferritin and vitamin D level first in case you do not want to depend on minoxidil. These two supplements are very important for the hair growth. Please note that it takes at least 3-6 months after serum ferritin and serum vitamin D level become normalized in order to see better result.

Using bandana after temporal and hairline transplant?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

In my practice, we always give the patient a bandana from the start. Please make sure that you don't tie it too tight and it will be fine.

Hair on my head has been falling out for the 2nd year now, please help (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I'm sorry to hear about your concern. However, the laser shouldn't affect areas where it was not directly applied. I recommend undergoing further investigation to exclude telogen effluvium by checking your complete blood count, ESR, thyroid hormone levels, and serum vitamin D. Both physical and emotional stress can also lead to hair loss.

Is a hair transplant possible on an area with scarring alopecia? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

You can fix this with hair transplant to cover the scar :) Since it's caused by surgical scar so it's not a scarring alopecia which is caused by autoimmune diseases.

Is it possible to transplant to donor area with body & beard hair after doing SMP over scars?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

It is possible to do! However, the transplanted density may not be as dense as transplantation in normal tissue since the scar has less vascular structures.

Why am I still shedding on Oral minoxidil?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I think it is important to rule out other causes such as telogen effluvium and alopecia areata incognita. For telogen effluvium, it could be caused by many things such as abnormal thyroid hormone, vitamin D deficiency, iron deficiency, stress, etc. Also, it's important to observe how many hairs you lose per day (you can check from the virtual scale - put "The Hair Shedding Visual Scale: A Quick Tool to Assess Hair Loss in Women" in Google). If the hair sheds more than 100 hairs/day on the day without shampoo, then it's abnormal. For the day you wash your hair, it would be abnormal if hair sheds more than 200 hairs/day.

I hope this help

Can I wear a tight wig (without tape or glue) after a hairline transplant?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

From my experience, wig is not really clean especially if you have lots of sweat. During the first 2 weeks, the recipient area is still susceptible to folliculitis (pimples) since there are inflammation from wound healing in that area. You may consider wear a ribbon or a bandana (if your job allows you to do). A loose hat or cap is also possible. I hope this help.

FUE Hair Transplant

My 2nd FUE Hair Transplant at BHI Clinic (Dr. Wunny) 1977 Grafts

First of all, I had undergone my first hair transplant before with FUE around 2500 grafts in another country. I would like to share my experience with hair transplantation surgery at BHI Clinic in Bangkok. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire process, from the initial consultation to the post-surgery care. Every step went as smoothly as possible. Why did I choose BHI Clinic? First of all, it was easy to find, and it was mentioned in many articles about hair transplantation in Bangkok as one of the best clinics. Secondly, it has good reviews on Google, and the pictures looked trustworthy. So, I decided to give it a go and arranged a consultation. During the consultation, we established the optimal areas for the transplantation, and I felt that the number of grafts proposed was just right to achieve the best result without extracting extra hair. I had the chance to be examined at three other clinics, but BHI Clinic’s surgery plan was, in my opinion, the best. Additionally, the prices at the other clinics were much higher, with one clinic being ridiculously expensive for what it offered. The surgery day went smoothly, with remarkable attention to my comfort during the procedure. All the staff, including Dr. Wunny, were extremely friendly and polite, guiding me through the process and making me feel at home. The entire surgery took about eight hours, but it felt like no more than three or four. All the equipment was modern, and the staff were clearly professional, knowing exactly what to do. I was provided with clear instructions for the days following the surgery, as well as painkillers and even sleeping pills in case I needed them. The surgery package also included five professional hair washing and healing procedures, which I found extremely important for the first few days when the skin is very sensitive and requires professional care. To summarize, I would like to say thank you to BHI Clinic, Dr. Wunny, and all the staff for making this surgery happen and for making it go so smoothly. I would strongly recommend BHI Clinic if you’re looking for hair transplantation services in Bangkok.
