Thank you for your question. Vollure can be a great option for the lips, even though it was indicated for other regions such as the nasolabial folds. There are three Injectables that all share similar characteristics. Voluma (for cheeks), Vollure (for nasolabial folds) and Volbella (for fine lines and lips). The main differences between them is the concentration of the product. Voluma is most concentrated (and hence the stiffist) while Volbella is the least concentrated. Vollure is half-way between. In addition, the longevity is up to 2 years for Voluma, 1.5 years for Vollure, and 1 year for Volbella. Which product you use in the lips will depend on how much longevity you are looking for and if you whether you want a softer or firmer feel to the lips. Most importantly, however, is the experience of the injector. Technique trumps product when it comes to producing natural looks.
Vollure can be used for the lips as an off label indication. The new generation of fillers such as Vollure are adding another layer of dimensionality to the type of filler you with several benefits.Texture. Juvederm Vollure is a softer product which tends to move with the lines of your face.Duration- Juvederm Vollure is a Vycross product which is cross linked differently than Juvederm Ultra Plus which is a hyalocross product. Vycross products have longer durations with Voluma lasting up to 2 years and Vollure up to a year and half.Versatility-Juvederm Vollure can be used almost anywhere on the face and adds another filler to the treatment choices for patients. As always, seek an experienced injector with knowledge of facial anatomy.
Vollure can be injected into the lips for lip volume. It is a smooth filler that gives a very nice result in the lips. Due to the technology used to cross link the hyaluronic acid in this filler, it produces a very nice and smooth result in the lip with longevity of up to12-18 months. To be sure, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluationto make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to havetreatment.I hope this helps.
Juvederm has the FDA indication for lip augmentation. While Vollure would probably be safe I would suggest going with Juvederm.
Vollure has been FDA cleared for nasolabial folds, however, it is a great dermal filler for other “off label” areas. I wouldrecommend this product for a patient who has had lip fillers in the past, or ifthey’re just looking for overall fullness. I would not recommend Vollure forsomeone with very thin lips, lacking in a strong structural shape. Wealso will commonly combine fillers and place Vobella more superficially closerto the surface. The best filler cannot be seen or felt!
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. It is considered an off-label use of the product but Vollure can be injected into the lips for increased fullness and definition. Because of its long-lasting properties be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon in consultation.

Hello and thank you for your question! Vollure is our number one choice for lips! We love this product for lips because it is softer with a natural feel and look! With new vycross technology, vollure is smoother and more natural looking, the product is easier to inject which decreases pain during the procedure, this filler is an ultra smooth gel which causes less bruising and swelling as well as improved duration. Please get a consultation with an experienced, board certified injector to see if vollure is the right product for you!! Good Luck to you!
Hi, thank you for your question.Yes, Vollure is a great product to help enhance the lips. The indications for Vollure are in the nasolabial folds, but in my experience, it performs great in the lips, looks natural, and has a long longevity of about 1 year. Hope that helped, -Melody PAC
Juvederm Vollure is a great option for lip enhancement. It has been used to enhance the lips in Europe for many years now as Volift. Please keep in mind that although it was FDA approved in the US in 2017, it is considered "off-label" for the lips. I have used it in my practice several times and my patients love the results!Dr. Sunanda Chugh, NYC
Hello and thank you for your question. There is a thinner filler that we prefer to use in our office called juvederm volbella. We prefer this filler because it is better for delicate areas such as the under eye. Side effects can be bruising for up to 1 week and swelling. I can not say why you...
Thank you for your question Rotstje. I understand your concern. Vollure is a hyaluronic acid filler designed to enhance the appearance of wrinkles and folds on the face. Tingling sensations are possible if the product was placed near a nerve. This would best be addressed by your injector. ...
