Thank you for sharing your question. Vollure is the newest hyaluronic acid in the Allergan line to receive approval for nasolabial fold lines. Vollure is produced with Vycross technology - like Voluma and Volbella - to offer less swelling and longer-lasting results. Because of the thinner tissues in the lower eyelid and tear trough I would advocate use of a thinner gel filler, such as Volbella, for the lower lids. Hope this helps.
Vollure is the newest in the line of Allergan's VyCross facial fillers. It is very versitile and an excellent choice for the tear trough area.
Vollure is a dermal filler that has been FDA cleared totreat moderate to severe nasolabial folds. It can be used in “off-label” areas.Vollure is a great filler for tear troughs because it’s soft and malleable andlasts much longer than other fillers because of its Vycross technology. Similarto the lips, we can also place Vobella which is a thinner version of Volluremore superficially, however we do keep all fillers at a minimum under themuscles. The best filler cannot be seen or felt!
Thank you for your question about Juvederm Vollure. This is a wonderful new product in the U.S., but it has been safely used for several years in Canada, and has similar cross-linking technology to Voluma and Volbella. We use this product for tear trough treatment in our office with beautiful, long lasting results. It attracts less fluid than most of the other hyaluronic acid fillers - which is very desirable in this area, and use of a cannula makes this a very safe procedure when done by your board certified provider who can help you decide if this product is for you. Best of luck with your treatment and thank you again for your question.
Hello and thank you for your question. There is a thinner filler that we prefer to use in our office called juvederm volbella. We prefer this filler because it is better for delicate areas such as the under eye. Side effects can be bruising for up to 1 week and swelling. I can not say why your doctor is using vollure for the under eye. Without seeing you in person it is hard to say if he felt vollure was better due to severity of hollowing. Both vollure and volbella are hyaluronic acid fillers that can be dissolved if you are unhappy with your result. Be sure to go to an experienced, board certified provider for your consultations. I hope this helps, good luck to you.
Thank you foryour question nostros. I am sorry to hear about your situation. Vollure is adermal filler used to enhance moderate to severe wrinkles on the face. It can also be used off-label in other areas such as the tear trough. I recommend a softer filler such as Restylane or Volbella for this area for my patients. Pleaseconsult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. Vollure is not FDA approved to be used in the tear trough area. However, like Botox and other fillers they can be used off label. Vollure doesn't draw fluid in and can be a good filler for tear trough. The key in injecting tear trough is to use cannula and the injection should be down on the bone to prevent show of the filler.I hope this helps. Best wishes (Dr. Salameh, Plastic Surgeon, Bowling Green, KY)
Thank you for your question. Juvederm Vollure is the newest FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) filler in the United States. It belongs to the same family of fillers as Voluma and Volbella - these are all highly cross-linked HA gels with longer lasting results (anywhere from 12-24 months) compared to earlier HA products. Although Vollure is very new in the United States, it has been available in Europe and Canada for a few years now (marketed as Juvederm Volift outside the US) - our colleagues there have safely been using Vollure/Volift under the eyes with excellent results. Filler injections under the eyes and in the tear troughs are an advanced technique - I would recommend scheduling an appointment with a highly experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns. Best of luck!
Vollure is only approved for use in the NLF and marionette lines. However, like all fillers on the market, injectors are going to use it in other locations. Personally I've injected a few syringes now into the tear troughs and love it. It is soft, malleable, and doesn't have a Tyndall effect. See an expert injector. The 'worst' that could happen is that you don't like it and the product has to be dissolved. Thank you for your question Rotstje. I understand your concern. Vollure is a hyaluronic acid filler designed to enhance the appearance of wrinkles and folds on the face. Tingling sensations are possible if the product was placed near a nerve. This would best be addressed by your injector. ...
Hello and thank you for your question! Vollure is an awesome filler for folds around mouth and in the lips actually. Vollure is a smooth, softer product to work with, it also gives more "lift" in the areas treated while looking and feeling more natural. This filler lasts, for most patie...
Vollure and Volift have been modified with cross-linking to slow the absorption. This is beneficial as the product will last longer.
