Nerve damage after filler - wait or dissolve asap?

Thank you for sharing your question.  If a cannula was used as part of your injections I would recommend allowing your results time to mature to see if the paresthesias - tingling and electrical shocks - resolve on their own.  It is unlikely that the product or cannula caused direct injury and most likely swelling is the cause.  hang in there.

hyaluronic acid filler designed to enhance the appearance of wrinkles and folds
on the face. Tingling sensations are possible if the product was placed near a nerve. This would best be addressed by your injector. Swelling and bruising is normal for 2 weeks after a treatment. I recommend that my patients apply cold compresses such as ice packs and sleep on an extra pillow if possible to reduce swelling. Please

Usually it is best to give it time for the "electric" shocks to settle down.The nerve sustained trauma during the injection and needs some time to recover.

Great question! The brows and forehead are advanced areas for filler correction, and it sounds like you worked with a very expert dermatologist.  The first and most important thing would be to have your injector re-evaluate the area for any signs of concern, like changes in color of the skin like duskiness, especially to make sure there is no issue with good circulation in the area.   Symptoms of persistent pain and burning that is more than expected with a bruise sometimes show vessel related issues, and may not be nerve related.  However, it is not unusual if the cannula nudged up against a nerve during your procedure, you can feel some radiating discomfort at the time of the procedure.  It is important you have this area re-evaluated by your dermatologist as soon as possible.
