Is using Flonase to reduce swelling safe one week after Rhino/Septoplasty?

My cosmetic ent who performed my rhinoplasty along with septoplasty said my daily allergy nose spray may actually reverse swelling... Is this a safe idea?

There isn't much fat on the nose and any thickness you see is usually attributed to other tissue, namely skin and cartilage.
