Hi @rstarks518. I would suggest you consider hyaluronic acid dermal fillers like Restylane Defyne for your nasolabial folds/laugh lines. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
This is a common problem affecting men and women. There are many non-surgical options available to you. Seek a consultation with a surgeon. They will go over all of the available treatments for you and help you make whatever decision is best for you.
Dear rstarks518, Typically for smile lines a filler such as Restylane or Juvederm is recommended. These can be injected by a board certified plastic surgeon in your area. Hope this helps!
Dermal fillers can definitely improve the appearance of deep laugh lines by restoring midface volume. It's important not to over-inject those lines directly as it might create unattractive folds around the mouth. Since it is a very dynamic area, fillers injected into naso-labial folds and lines will not have the same longevity as in other areas of the face.
Some men develop deep lines around their mouth and depressed cheeks at an early age (perhaps an extreme example is Steve Buscemi). Since there is no photo, I am not certain this is what you are referring to, but in any case, any volume deficit can be treated with Restylane, Radiesse, and/or Voluma, with a very natural replenishment in skilled hands. male faces are shaped differently from female, and it is important to see a board-certified dermatologist with considerable experience and an understanding of the subtleties. All the best to you! Dr. Clark
suggest you see a plastic surgeon for evaluation, but likely a nonsurgical treatment will help. there are many board certified plastic surgeons within 45 minutes of you.
Belotero is thinner and very easy to work with especially under eye areas. 1 syringe runs $550 with or without canula. I typically use a canula as much as possible to decrease bruising. sincerely, David Hansen,MD
It looks as if you have a few things. One is a tear trough, which is loss of volume under the lower eye and this can be fixed with some fillers. The creases your seeing under your eyes are a combination of genetics, allergy (dennie morgan folds/lines) and due to aging/elasticity of...
I use cannulas for many injections and my patients rarely get any bruising or swelling. When needles you may get some bruising but that is unpredictable. Typically there is no downtime. Best, Dr. Emer.
The lines that form around the eyes (crow's feet) are dynamic wrinkles which form from years of muscle overuse. Botox is the best treatment for these types of wrinkles as the muscles need to be weakened. It is possible that you received an insufficient amount of botox or injections placed in the...
Local anesthetics can be injected prior to filler injections. Typically if the injector is concerned with accurate placement of the filler, a nerve block can be performed which is typically injected into the origin of the nerve which supplies sensation to the area of injection. This is well away...
