I'm a 30 year old male interested in getting injections for my tear troughs. They're not exactly bad per say though they're noticeable enough to me a tired look. I'm interested in getting filler injections (Restylene) and I've seen prices ranging from 300-600 dollars per standard needle injection. But what are is the prince range for microcannula injections for the same sort of procedure? I'm concern about the bruising and if this other method is cheap enough, it might be the way to go.
Answer: Belotero tends to be the best filler for under eye areas. Belotero is thinner and very easy to work with especially under eye areas. 1 syringe runs $550 with or without canula. I typically use a canula as much as possible to decrease bruising. sincerely, David Hansen,MD

Answer: Microcannulas for Filler Injections As mentioned in prior answers, the cost for filler injections is based on your geographical location, the type of filler and the skill of the injector. In Los Angeles, filler injections for the tear troughs range from $450-600 at most reputable places. I use both regular needles and microcannulas. I base my decision on which to use depending on the area, the amount of correction required, and whether or not the patient is a suitable candidate for microcannula use. For the tear trough area, if I am using a more superficially placed filler such as Belotero then I will use the microcannula technique. It is definitely associated with less bruising and swelling. If you require a filler such as Juvederm or Restylane then these need to be placed deeper in the tissues on top of the bone. In these situations injections placed with a needle are much more precise. I would suggest an in-person consultation with an experienced injector who can then determine which filler and injection technique would be best for you. Good Luck to you.

Answer: Prices for Under Eye Injections Hi AD. As another physician mentioned, The price you pay has a lot to do with the quality of the injector and good tear trough injectors rarely have bruising because the product is injected deep under the muscle that surrounds the eyes. We don't use cannulas because placing the product in just the right location is more difficult when using a cannula than a stiff needle. Injecting dermal fillers is as much an art as it is a science so we would recommend finding an injector that does this routinely and can show you before and after photos to demonstrate their skill. To see examples of before and after pictures for Los Angeles patient that have had Restylane injections under the eyes, click the link below.

Answer: Are #Juvederm #Restylane injections more expensive with a #cannula ? In the Denver area, prices for Restylane or Juvederm Ultra injected by a reputable physician injector range from $500-600. I use only cannulas whenever possible. The cannulas add a very small increase to my costs and I offer this add-on at no charge because I truly feel that it creates better results and less downtime. I am not sure about the LA area but you can call local offices and ask. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon
