Should I get fillers (undereye, cheek & chin) before or after I get braces? (Photo)

Hi! I'm thinking about getting braces to correct my underbite (you can see my bottom lip protrudes more than my upper lip - I hate it, it's been such an insecurity for me for so long), at the same time I've realized i've got a tearthrough which I want to treat with undereye filler & also would love to get filler on the apple of the cheeks and also on the chin as mine is a bit square. What worries me is that perhaps If get the fillers before the braces, when I do get the braces on, my face will look off as the braces could change the proportions? Of course if I were to get the fillers pre braces I'd wait around a month before so as to not risk filler migration. Thank you very much in advance

Hi! First, it’s great to hear that your biopsy turned out well. A raised scar—even one from many years ago—can often be improved, though the approach depends on the type and thickness of the scar as well as its location on the lip.

Laser treatments – Fractional CO₂ or Erbium lasers can soften raised scars and improve texture and color over time. Multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results.

Steroid injections – For scars that are thick or firm, a series of corticosteroid injections can help flatten the bump and reduce redness.
