Hello, I’m reaching out as a last resort for guidance. I’ve had HA cheek filler touch-ups since 2023 and consistently achieved natural, beautiful results, mainly in the USA and Paris. In October 2024, I moved to Madrid and sought a conservative “less is more” touch-up with a local practitioner. Instead, my face was severely overfilled. Filler was placed excessively in my cheeks and jawline and, critically, positioned laterally below my natural bone structure. My face became extremely wide and unrecognizable. I was gaslit and told it looked beautiful, which has been deeply distressing. Over the past year, I’ve undergone multiple dissolving sessions with ultrasound guidance. Doctors now say no detectable filler remains on scans, yet my face has not returned to its natural structure. I’ve lost my lean, angular contour; I have pronounced under-eye bags, a soft and rounded midface, and mild drooping along the anterior jawline near the chin. My face remains wider than my natural baseline despite no weight change. While dissolving has improved things somewhat, my original cheekbone definition and contour have not returned, and no doctor in Madrid has offered a clear solution. I’m trying to understand what could be causing this persistent volume or shapeless appearance if no filler is visible, and how it can be corrected without adding more volume. I feel stuck and would appreciate expert insight on how to restore my natural facial structure.
