What could this spontaneous localized burning after breast lift with implants be? (photos)

46 years old. Had breast lift with 320cc smooth Mentor high profile implants above the muscle on 3/1/19. Recovery has been great, little to no pain. I’m early in recovery but I am so pleased already. My concern is that my left breast has an occasional localized dull burning sensation and feels warm to the touch, and skin appears to be more red. I do not have my first post op check until next week. No swelling evident, it’s not constant, just very concerned. I added a photo of the spot.

Thanks so much for your photo and great question. It is not uncommon for a suture to make it's way through the skin post surgery.  A "pimple" like irritation may form, redness or even perhaps discomfort. Feel free to contact your surgeon's office to have them remove or perhaps snip flush to the...

Congratulations on your most recent surgery!You are still in the early stages of recovery. There can be irregularities and changes up to 3 months. In some cases even 6 months - 1 year. Once things settle out around 3 months, I recommend discussing with your surgeon if the problem doesn't improve...
