Lift w/ implants done on 1/26, noticing a dent on vertical lollipop incision. Is this normal? (photos)

Question

I had my surgery 1/26/19 breast lift with implants; lollipop incision. I’ve just noticed over the past several days that my boob looks flat around the vertical incision. I’ve included pictures. My right breast is worse than the left. And I’ve kind of pointed to where I’m talking about in the pictures. I’m just wondering if this is normal and will go away as the implant softens and settles more or if this is something that I will need to get corrected.

Congratulations on your most recent surgery!You are still in the early stages of recovery. There can be irregularities and changes up to 3 months. In some cases even 6 months - 1 year. Once things settle out around 3 months, I recommend discussing with your surgeon if the problem doesn't improve. Fat Transfer can be done to fill small irregularities if needed.Best Wishes.

Hello and thank you for your question and photo's.  Its most likely the puckering from the deep stitches that will dissolve in a month or so .  It's early in recovery and tension from the deep stitches can cause a puckering or denting temporarily.

You are still,very early on in your recovery, and the results look excellent with good symmetry. The small indent you point out is very minor, probably due to stitches pulling the tissues tight in this area,  and as the tissue heals over the next 3 months this should improve.I would suggest you see your plastic surgeon for advice and reassurance.
