Dear brejaie,Thank you for posting this question. ACell was at one time a few years ago thought to enhance the positive effects of PRP. However, this has not really been the case in reality, and ACell is not routinely used anymore with PRP procedures. It’s very expensive and I found patients were not willing to pay the extra for it. I have it at our center should anyone really want it, however, as there are a few who really want it. It’s not something that makes or breaks the results, however, as we’re seeing great results with PRP. We use the Eclipse® system, although there are many PRP kits on the market. I hope this information is helpful to you.Kind Regards,Ken Anderson, MD, FISHRS
I don't find Acell to be that effective. You would need a formal evaluation with a hair loss expert to determine cause and the best treatment options. I have great success in my practice using injectable progesterone and prp to the scalp. I suggest seeing a dermatologist with expertise in hair loss. Best, Dr. Emer.
In in my opinion, studies documenting the effectiveness of A cell are lacking. The potential of side effects when using A cell, which is a foreign protein, are increased. Find a PRP expert. Ask to see photos.PRP hair md.com
On average for men who are getting a full PRP treatment 30 mg of acell is added for women it is 20 mg. Some doctors are moving away from using acell for hair loss.
PRP is an amazing Prevention for anyone to use. It helps thicken and strengthen the hair. It also rejuvenates your hair. Our Practice actually adds the PRP into every single transplant procedure that we perform. Same day procedure combined with your transplant. Our Patients have seen tremendous results and have been incredibly happy. We have a 99.9% success rate. Our PRP is also amazingly effective since it is red.
Hello, You can get done prp every 2-3 months and mezotheraphy weekly. No need to get it done at the same time.
It is unlikely anything you did would have caused the hair loss that quickly. Wait a while and you should see continued improvement from your treatments. It can take up to a year to see results from consecutive treatments.
It depends when you drank the wine. Drinking 2 glasses of wine just before your visit, may render you unable to legally provide consent for a procedure. Alcohol can also lead to bruising for a procedure that normally does not cause bruising. If you are nervous about having a procedure, co...
