Thank you very much for this interesting question. First of all no it is not normal. That can be a number of reasons why you have tingling feeling in your fingertips. The number of questions however still have to be answered. When was the onset of the tingling feeling. Was it directly after surgery? Is it symmetrical? Are there any other parts of your body that have the same tingling feeling? Is that feeling continuous or does the normal feeling come back at times? Has this feeling changed to the better or to the worse since the surgery?Regardless they need to be a physical examination to assess which nerve function is compromised. First step is to go back to your surgeon to inform him. He should then manage the follow up treatment. Have a wonderful rest of the day and greetings from the beautiful island of Jamaica.
You dont mention if all fingers were involved, or if it is a recurring event. The symtoms you describe are unlikely to be due to your augmentation, especially this long after surgery. This could be associated with some type of nerve compression, or of a vascular nature. If they persist, you should have your surgeon evaluate you.
Finger tingling and breast augmentation do not really go hand in hand. Certainly something that has just happened for the first time several weeks after your augmentation is very unlikely to be related. I believe there is likely an explanation other than your implants. I know that doesn't answer the more important question of what is causing the numbness, but hopefully can put you at ease knowing it's not the implants. Congrats on having your augmentation. I wish you the best and hope your fingers get better soon.
Thank you for your question. There are many things that can cause numbness. It could be unrelated to your surgery. I would advise you go and meet with your surgeon to discuss in person as they know your history and case the best. Good Luck!
Thank you for your question. There are many reasons for this. It may not even related to implants. Best thing is to go to your PS for evaluation and to express your concerns.
To be honest, you probably would not be able to tell the differnce between 415 cc and 450cc unless you were told. You should let your surgeon know how you want your breasts to look , and trust them to select the correct implant . Many factors contribute to this, and most patients are not...
Dear Flat2Fab13,Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to ...
Thanks for the question. Based on your photos and information i think that 280-300cc will be an excellent choice for you keeping a natural appearance of your breast but with adequate volume. Its very important for you to know that the best way to select the implant is after a complete personal ...
Although 800ccc should look the same generally saline looks bigger because it is less pliable and stiffer. Also you can overfill saline implants - they will loose warranty and possibly will look/feel very fake. I would not advice you to get larger silicone implants - first of all they may n...
Right now, Mentor has XL silicone implants in trial that go up to 1500cc. However, they are only designated for breast reconstruction and are still in the trial phase. Currently, your only way to get above the 800cc range is to use an 800cc moderate plus saline implant and overfill it to th...
