Help with my lipoma

Question

Hello.My name is Delano Crowfield I am a 30 year old male. I have a huge lipoma on the right side of my back & Shoulder.I would say it's about a size of a football​ or a little bigger. I've been dealing with this growth since I was 19. It's really stopping me from working its very big & painful. I need help with this problem I do not have insurance to even make a appointment to the doctor.

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your lipoma symptoms. I would see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss your concerns.  Depending on the size they may be able to remove the mass in their office or at least work with you to establish a payment plan for removal.  Hope this helps.

make an appointment at the surgical clinic at a local university hospital and they should be able to help you get Medicaid and subsequently resect this symptomatic mass. It is not likely that they will deny you care. H Karamanoukian MD FACS
