After lipoma surgery should I remove the plastic tape on top of the bandage? (Photo)

I did lipoma removal surgery 3 days before, it was little upside my elbow. I got a bandage and upside kind of plastic tape (Please see on picture). My question is should I removed this plastic tap or not? I couldn't remember what Doctor suggested me that time.

It is probably safe to remove this dressing 3 days post lipoma excision. Apply Scar Serum to reduce scarring and avoid sun exposure to prevent hyperpigmentation of the wound.
