Thank you for your inquiry.This is a good question, we recommend not having any jewellery, make-up or acyril nails/nail polish for sanitary reasons and so it doesnt interfere with blood oxygen content sensors. Nails, especially long ones can harbor lots of bacteria and you want to be as sterile as possible during and after surgery to prevent any type of infection.
