Have hypertrophic scars on nose from acne. Risk of hypertrophic scarring from rhinoplasty?

The photo is not very clear but there does appear to be a pink ball visible which could indicate a collection of blood, serum or an infection. I would advise for you to go and have an examination by your surgeon.

At nine days, your nose is still very swollen.  Give it some time, as your nose takes approximately one year to heal.  Hope this helps!

Dear Robyn, It is still very early days and not uncommon to see a bump after your surgery. This is usually swelling and can often take a few months for it to settle so I would not worry at all at this stage. Best Wishes. Philip Michael
