Hello, yes, you can have filler injected to the upper eyelid area to make them appear less hollow. You have what is called a superior sulcus deformity that can be corrected with very careful placement of filler just underneath the orbital bone. Make sure to visit an experienced oculoplastic surgeon for this area, as it is an uncommon area for most injectors but it is very familiar to oculoplastic surgeons. 

For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. You can certainly have filler or fat placed into the upper eyelids to help treat the high upper eyelid sulcus which is giving your upper eyelids a hollow appearance.  The skin and is very thin in this area and in the area closest to your nose (medially) there are some significant vessels and nerves which your injector needs to be familiar with to avoid potentially serious complications.  Choice of filler and technique of fat injection is also important.

Fillers have been used for treating upper eyelid hollows for many years going back over three decades to the early days with the use of the orginal injectable collagen fillers. In experienced hands, treatment should take no more than a few minutes. However, this area is not a region for novice injectors accustomed to treating simple smile lines with ordinary Restylane or Juvederm. Belotero Balance is my favorite for this region, since it is a cohesive filler and thus integrates nicely and naturally into the normal tissue and possesses little to no significant tendency to give rise to the unwanted bluish/gray Tyndall Effect when injected superficially into the delicate tissues of this region as needs to be done. Certainly filler could be used to treat the hollow in the upper lids, however fat would probably offer a better long term correction. Please select a plastic surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and preferably a member of the ASAPS (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons). 

I will answer to that question with a YES YOU CAN, there are different HA fillers and each one is designed for different areas of the face, you can definitely have a filler in that are as first treatment option. Make sure you are going with an expert and using a cannula is one of the best thing to avoid complications in that area. The plan you decide must be done by an expert injector so you can set it and follow up with him to achieve your goals.

This problem can be treated with a filler such as Juvederm Volbella or Restylane. This area must be carefully injected and my preference would be to do it with a cannula instead of a needle. 

Even though fillers can be used for the treatment of the upper eyelid hollowness, I would not recommend to go with this route as too many complications can arise. The single best way to treat the area of the hollow orbit and eyelids is with the use of the patient's own fat. Yes, it is quite possible to fill the upper eyelids to make them appear less hollow. My choice of filler would be Juvederm Volbella or Vollure since they absorb less water than most other fillers. However, for you, I would choose fat to fill the area as it is essentially permanent, though the mentioned fillers in that area should last several years. Since they are not as permanent, you could use a filler first to see if you like the results. Also, you really do need to choose the injector carefully, as this is a very non forgiving area and very few injectors have experience there.
