Plasma skin treatment tends to be more superficial. RF micro-needling can penetrate as much as 3.5 mm into the skin. Jowls can respond better to RF micro-needling. Superficial scarring should respond to both plasma and RF micro-needling. Longevity should be longer with RF micro-needling although there is not a major difference. Answer: Morpheus8 is a great option for skin tightening. Pair with Ultherapy to lift and define facial features Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Answer: Tightening I think you’re referring to something like the Plasma pen.... if so, any treatment with RF+microneedling will be able to penetrate more deeply into the skin than that treatment will. Best! Dr. Estee Williams

In those patients who have entrusted us to rejuvenate their face and jowls, nothing beats a radiofrequency based device applied by a very skilled and experienced physician and his staff. For face and jowls, our patients undergo complete regional and tumescent anesthesia applied to the area (as creams are completely unreliable and can be toxic when left on to "take affect"). The combination of Infini and Facetite gives a result that may be wonderfully mistaken as a facelift insofar as observable results!
