Button-like nose through Rhinoplasty? (photos)

After reviewing your photos, I believe that what you are seeking is possible.  With that being said, the entire goal of a rhinoplasty is to create a refined, aesthetically-pleasing nose based on what fits your face - while making it appear completely natural.  I recommend consulting with a Board-Certified plastic surgeon who will accurately examine your nose, create a simulation that would show you what your nose could look like after surgery, and develop a plan tailored to your individual needs. There are several techniques that can be successfully used to deproject an overprojected nose.  By operating on the underlying cartilages, the tip can be rotated up and deprojected.   The process will also widen the base that in many situations will be beneficial.  The bridge is brought down consistent with the overall proportions of the nose.   I have used this principle in many satisfied patients.Seek a skilled consultant!  and good luck.Fred G. Hello.  Rhinoplasty for a bulbous tip, to "thin" and reduce the size of the nose is a common request.  The nasal cartilages are sutured and sculpted to reduce the bulbosity.  

It is impossible to give a " button nose" without making it  look operated upon and unnatural. The rhinoplasty procedure  can address de-projecting the nose, shaving down the dorsal hump and lifting the tip. Closed rhinoplasty approach can address all these concerns. What you want is possible.  You just have to find a surgeon who can do it.  It needs expertise and experience.

Although you may not have the same nose as the photo you shared, your nose can be refined and shortened.  Noses must appear natural and fit the other facial features, so a 'button' nose may not be the perfect nose for your face.  See a rhinoplasty surgeon with much experience for the most natural look.

I believe you can significantly improve your nose with a rhinoplasty.  You may not achieve the exact look of the person's photo you submitted but should be able to approach that.  Your nose needs to be deprojected and shortened, which are possible.  You need to be careful not to make your nose too small since you have a prominent chin and it will appear bigger with a smaller nose.  Find a board certified surgeon who does frequent rhinoplasty surgery for the best result.  Good luck.  Donald R. Your bridge is too full; this can be reduced.  Your tip is over-projected; I cannot see the width of your nostrils but they can be widened when the tip projection is decreased. I agree that your nose is too long. Your nose can be shortened with rhinoplasty but you do not want a  "pig-nose". The nose of the patient in the example you provided is not as short as it appears; in that picture she is smiling and the fullness at the junction of the nose and the upper lip is misleading. Consult with an  experienced specialist who shows you multiple examples of natural results that you like.
