My PS advised me not to wear a chin strap. At 3 weeks he injected a steroid shot for swelling. Are these tunnel scars normal at 8 weeks?

Patients with questions and concerns about their chin lipo healing process should address those concerns with the surgeon that performed the operation, ideally during a follow up consultation.

Cannot tell exactly from your photos but your issues could be related to scarring, uneven fat removal during the liposuction procedure or even the injection of the steroid.  I would suggest talking to your surgeon or get second opinion from a board certified facial plastic surgeon.
