I had a beard transplant 2 weeks ago with 2800 grafts. Donar area is healing just fine wit little redness and itching which is part of the healing process. My question is regarding my beard. I noticed the redness is still there and also some scars and little bumps on the implanted area. Is this common and how long does it take these scars to heal. Am I going to see scars and bumps on my face in case I shave in few months or so. Thank you

Redness and bumps may not be normal and it may also be a sign of early infection.  Follow your doctors recommendations.  Redness may last a few weeks.  Some people may have a tendency to have more redness.

The redness remains just after surgery and it is "normal" to stay 14 days or more. That pinkish redness/discoloration may fade away in a long time up to 3-4 months . İt depends on your skin color/fitzpatrick classification (Lighter the color of your skin , more reddish discoloration on skin aftersurgery).Those indentations and bumps may be observed until first regrowing hair comes out from skin and all those may also fade away in  to 3-4 months .

Some redness is normal for the first month, but by then it should fade away. Rarely it will last several months but that's the exception, not the norm, and if it is significant your doctor can help you manage it. Regardless it's good to check up with them as redness that isn't going away could also be a sign of infection or another issue that requires medical attention.
