I had a beard transplant 2 weeks ago. Is this redness common? How long does it take these scars to heal?

I had a beard transplant 2 weeks ago with 2800 grafts. Donar area is healing just fine wit little redness and itching which is part of the healing process. My question is regarding my beard. I noticed the redness is still there and also some scars and little bumps on the implanted area. Is this common and how long does it take these scars to heal. Am I going to see scars and bumps on my face in case I shave in few months or so. Thank you

Answer: Redness and bumps may not be normal and it may also be a sign of early infection. Follow your doctors recommendations.
