Hello! 2 weeks ago I had an FUE hair transplant, followed all the after care procedures and it's made a full recovery. The Dr said that after a few days the hairs would fall out however I have a full face of thick hair... will this fall out? The folicals seem to be in place..
Answer: It is normal to lose transplanted hairs weeks after surgery. It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out. It is normal to lose transplanted hairs weeks after surgery. It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out.

Answer: The hair will fall out It's still early. It's likely the hair will fall out eventually. You may have some that survive, and continue to grow. After they fall out, they will grow back in a few months. Congrats on getting a great procedure done. Best, Dr. Giordano

Answer: Beard Transplant We have had several cases where the transplanted hair to the beard area did not shock out. It is still likely the hairs will shock out, but if not, consider this an early start to the final result.

Answer: Not Shedding It's possible that your hair may not fall out at all- this is unusual but it happens, and it doesn't particularly affect the final results. However you're only two weeks out, it's more likely that it's just too early to see shedding. Give it another month or two.

Answer: You may experience shock loss of your existing hair but this is not permanent and it will grow back. As far as the transplanted hair you will most likely go through a shedding phase before they start regrowing permanently.
