I am concerned from the uneven and lumpy skin underneath my belly button and still a very hard fat bump Is this scar tissue ? What are other alternatives other than revision that can be done?

To improve your final results, I recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Sometimes there is hardness that can persist for a year. It usually resolves by 6 months, by I have had the rare patient, who took a year for the lumps to soften. Other than gentle massage and maybe lymphatic drainage etc, i think i would avoid aggressive treatments since they could make it worse.david berman md

It looks like you developed some scar tissue/ uneven fat deposits.  After the surgery you may have had fluid or blood that solidified in that area.  This is one reason good compression is so important.If it was residual fat only, it should be softer, especially at 6 weeks.Some external devices such as RF skin tightening may help.  Also consider steroid injections into the scar tissue to soften it.  Based on the size, repeat liposuction or surgery to break up/ remove the scar tissue may be needed.Talk to your surgeon.  I normally won't do any type of revision until the 6 month point as the body is still healing, but you are there.Good luck to you, Dr. Powell
