I had smartlipo triplex on 10/05/17 and I am exactly 5 months post op and I see uneven lumps now and a prominent pooch that is there. I am concerned if I need to do a revision as well. I understand that the skin needs time to heal after surgery but I’m starting to feel unhappy with what I’m seeing, fearing that this will become permanent.
Answer: Post Lipo Lumps Uneven lumpiness after liposuction is common. As the inflammatory process subsides months after liposuction, the lumpiness likewise dissipates. Keep in mind that some patients require 12 months to reach 100% healing. While waiting for your followup appointment with your physician, you might consider: 1) downsizing your compression garment 2) daily aerobic exercise 3)lymphatic massage. Hope this finds you well.

Answer: Smart Lipo Results--add Venus Legacy, Exilis, Vanquish, Cellutone, ZWave, VASER, ThermiRF To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. However, a VASER revision would give you the smoothest result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: You look better after your lipo Your lipo has improved your definition and contours overall. No reason to panic. You're not botched. You're not deformed. Unhappiness over a few small lumps requires a little more patience to see if the areas will flatten out, but if they persist a small touchup procedure would probably reduce them.

Answer: Possible Touch up Hi there,From your pre and post op pics there appears to be a difference and you have better contours. Having said that it does appear there is a small degree of fat below the belly button. It also appears you have stretch marks, and the discussion prior to the procedure should have included how the skin would contract when stretch marks are present. When you have stretch marks the skin will not contract as well as skin that never had stretch marks. I would wait a period of 6-8 months post procedure prior to doing any touch up but would also add skin tightening device such as J plasma or InmodeBody Tite.See a revision specialist for best results

Answer: Lumpiness after liposuction You do appear to have some fullness below your umbilicus. At 5 months , most of the swelling should be resolved. I would return to your surgeon to discuss your concerns. You may need a small revision. Dr Crabtree
