I remember reading a doctor on here's answer to somebody's question about such an he said after 10 sessions or so they should go down permanently. Is,this true for most people?
Answer: Will 10+ Botox Sessions to Masseter Make Muscles Stay Down Permanently? Botox Needs Refreshment Every 6 Months in Masseters It’s true that, over time, repeated sessions of Botox may weaken your muscles sufficiently that you need a lower dose, with the results lasting longer and longer. However, it’s unlikely that you would ever be able to forego the treatment entirely, as “permanent” really means forever. In general, you need to re-administer Botox in the masseters every 6 months to keep the face-slimming effect. This will just be part of your normal self-care routine. There is no guarantee, either, that your muscle will be weak enough after 10 treatments to need a lower dose; everyone is different. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist who has experience in slimming faces with Botox to get the most flattering face slimming.

Answer: No Permanent Results from Botox Thank you very much for your question, as it is a good one. The results from Botox are temporary, lasting three to four months. Over time, as the targeted muscle continues to stay relaxed, it may require a smaller amount of Botox for the same results. Everyone is different, and may or may not find this to be true. However, even after 10 or more Botox sessions, you should not expect truly ‘permanent’ changes in the masseter muscle. If you have any further questions, discuss the long-term Botox treatment plan for your masseter area with a board certified plastic surgeon, experienced in injectable treatments.

Answer: Botox for masseter muscle You will require continued Botox injections to maintain the muscle mass. You could most likely reduce the frequency of the sessions to 2-3 times a year. Trial and error.

Answer: Botox for the Masseter In my opinion the toxins do not last or render a permanent result. I have seen some patients who get as much as 5 months and others who get a little as 3 months, which is the average expectation. Best wishes.

Answer: Botox will not be permanent Hello. Even with many sessions of repeated Botox, the results are not permanent. Often, the results are better with repeated treatments, but if you stop the Botox after 10+ sessions, your masseters will eventually return to their size before you started Botox. Make sure you see a board certified physician with experience in cosmetic injectables. Some non physicians can be good injectors, but these always work in a practice under the direct supervision of a board certified cosmetic doctor who himself/herself also is experienced in cosmetic injections. Take care.
