Botox brow lift caused eyelid ptosis and wrinkles on forehead. Can I get Botox on my forehead?

If you're unhappy with your Botox results, additional Botox along with venus legacy and thermage treatments can give improvement. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

 Yes, it is possible to place a small amount of Botox in the forehead wrinkles which are probably the result of the ptosis present in the upper lid. The ptosis itself should subside in about 6 to 8 weeks.

You need to be evaluated by your injector. I would not advise you with out an examination.  More botox could make matters worse by increasing your ptosis.   

If you are forming lines from trying to elevate your eyebrows, you can relax the muscles with botox to prevent permanent etching. However,  if this wrinkling is helping with your mild ptosis, you will risk losing this compensation if you use botox to stop the wrinkling. Without looking at your pictures or examining you in person, I have made several assumptions.
I assume the "brow lift" is the only injection that was done and no other Botox was performed (eg. in between the eyes for elevens).
The classic botox "brow lift" is to inject into a muscle that pulls the brow down. Thus, the forehead muscle can pull it up more. However, if the injection is placed wrongly, it sounds like your injector ended up injecting into the eyelid lifting muscle (classically the levator palpebrae superioris). Thus, your eyelids start to droop on the outer part of your eyelid (the part closer to your ear and not the part closer to your nose). To compensate for that, you lift your eyebrows and now have new lines on the top of your forehead.
If what I described is what had happened, some glaucoma eye drops (eg. iopidine) may be helpful to raise the droopy eyelid a little by "activating" another eye lid raising muscle (Muller muscle) using another pathway. That way you might not have to raise your eye brow using your forehead muscle (Frontalis) just to lift your droopy eyelids. If you decide to put some Botox to stop the forehead muscles from being etched, chances are you will feel the eyelids being even more droopy because you cannot lift your brows to compensate for your droopy eyelids. It is better to let the initial Botox wear off and look for an injector who does a lot of Botox in your area. We are the TOP 50 account in the country with the makers of BOTOX. Hi there, you can get botox in your forehead to treat the lines forming there when you raise your brows. The position of your brows is a balance from the muscles that lift the brow and the muscles that pull the brow down. Because of that, if you are looking for a brow lift it is common to skip botox on the forehead. That way the forehead muscles are stronger and can lift the brow. In older patients with significant brow descend, I do sometimes recommend to stay away from botox in the forehead to prevent further descend in the brow. But in younger patients, it is possible to do both: slightly lift the brows and use a small amount of botox in the forehead to soften the forehead.You are on the right track. I might advise you go to your prior injector who sounds more experienced. Good luck!

Injection to produce the brow lift is usually free of complications but now you can have injection into the upper forehead to reduce the wrinkles there. You might consider going back to the injector who had good results

Hello Xangelika,Botox brow lift causing eyelid droop is extremely rare, less than 1 percent. For the drooping eyelid, an eye drop can be used to keep the eyelid up until the Botox wears off. Regarding the compensating wrinkle on your forehead, additional Botox can be given, however, the injector must be very careful to not cause further brow droop. The anatomy is absolutely crticial in understanding the injection process. Discuss this with you current injector or expert facial injector. In the end there are solutions which will make you happy.Cheers
