Botox after 15 days of facial fat grafting, is this safe?

I had a facial fat grafting 15 day ago because I have wrinkles specially in the forehead and in between the eyebrows. I suffer from dry eye and I am all the time squeezing the muscles of the forehead. So far I am happy with the results from the fat transfer but I am afraid it won't last longer since I still frown. my surgeron says I need to apply botox ASAP. But I wonder if the application of botox can have a negative effect in the fat we tranfered. I would like to get a second option about my situation.

Botox won't affect your fat grafting results. Botox only interacts with the nerves going to the muscles that create frownlines. 
It will likely improve your long term outcome.

Hi,Thank you for your question.We usually wait 2 weeks after fat grafting to administer botox or dysport to allow some healing to occur and inflammation to reduce. Botox should not affect the fat grafting results as it is injected into the muscle and diffuses readily. It will likely work synergistically with the fat grafting to give you a superior result.Hope this helps!

There is no reason why you can’t have Botox 15 days after fat grafting. The Botox should not affect the procedure you had done.

Having a Botox treatment 15 days after facial fat transfer should not have a negative effect on the fat that was transferred.  It should be fine to go ahead with the Botox injection.
