Many patients come to our office desiring less of a curve on the nasal profile appearance. We like to utilize microdroplet Silikon 1000 injections for permanent results. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Dear Camila, Fillers are a nice way to make a nose appear more straight. Either without ever having rhinoplasty performed, or masking some of the results of a prior rhinoplasty. In your case your bridge can be straightened and the supra tip break can be softened. Seek a consultation with an experienced injector. Best wishes.
Thanks for your question. Small irregularities and asymmetries in the nose can be improved with fillers and one can either use permanent or temporary fillers. Among the permanent fillers are FDA approved, Bellafill ® or fat transfer (which, of course, comes from your own body). Fillers will rarely improve nasal obstruction or make the nose smaller. For a life long result, a rhinoplasty is still generally the gold standard. Recommend an in person consult with a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty to discuss your options.
Hi and thank you for your question! While more views and pictures from other angles are needed to be able to say with more accuracy, we can generally use filler injection to make the nose straight. We cannot reduce the size with filler, but by creating a more defined and sculpted look, it can help with the overall look of the nose. Please consult an experienced cosmetic doctor for best results. I hope it helps and good luck!
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) along with Botox can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello, Thanks for the question, Yes, dermal filler in the nose can help you achieve a more straight nose. About losing the tip, I would guess you are not wanting your tip to show as much, and dermal fillers if being injected correctly, can give the illusion of a smaller tip. I hope this helps, please see a cosmetic physician in your area for a consultation!
You can certainly contour the tip and bridge with fillers. I have many many nose like yours. You have to be careful if you have had a previous rhinoplasty (not sure if that applies to you) because your risks are high so make you consult with a rhinoplasty expert. We are happy to see you in consultation to give you a clear idea of what fillers can do. Best wishes
Thank you for your photos. It is definitely possible to improve the contours of your nose with an injectable filler. It is important to go to an experienced injector who can perform the procedure properly as their is a risk of tissue loss and injury with incorrect injections. I prefer a dissolvable HA filler such as VOLUMA which is safer and can be reversed if it is not to your liking. You may also want to consider a rhinoplasty in the long-term which can create more dramatic results and are permanent which may be more cost-effective in the long-run. Hope this helps!Johnson C. It's hard to tell based on your photos but in general nose filler treatment is used to smooth the bridge of the nose and add volume to or lift the nasal tip.
Yes Camila, dermal fillers are used routinely in non surgical rhinoplasty. Majority of them are the Hyaluronic acid ones (HA fillers) under different brands (Belotero, Juvederm & Restylane) and they last (the full new look) between 6-18 months. After you select your practitioner and during your consultation they will explain to you the realistic expectations that you should be aiming for. Based on your pictures, I believe you can get a straight nose and have the tip lowered by injecting in the back (dorsum) of the nose and in the spine (Columella)
Nonsurgical rhinoplasty using fillers has a very specific role in my practice. It helps me smooth the appearance of the bridge of the nose as well as add a little volume to the nasal tip and lip it up. It is not an replacement for rhinoplasty in the majority of cases though. A neuromodulator l...
Like nasal taping, nose clips will lead to a temporary change in somebody's nasal appearance. We do not advocate the use of these devices. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Sometimes recurring scabs on the nasal septum is called nasal vestibulitis. This tends to respond well to a topical steroid cream, applied with a Q-tip, like hydrocortisone. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
