I got an injury playing sports and got reoccurring scabs in my left nostril I have been picking them and noticed a dent has appeared and I am worrying that this will get worse the scabbing has stopped however the remains and is very tender so touch what do i do is there anyway to fix this without surgery

Sometimes recurring scabs on the nasal septum is called nasal vestibulitis. This tends to respond well to a topical steroid cream, applied with a Q-tip, like hydrocortisone. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
