I’ve been having these deep nasolabial folds since a child How can I get rid of them? I am okay with surgery to remove them since it’s affected my confidence

In your photograph, you have a large distance between your nose and upper lip. Also, the corners of your mouth point slightly downward. You would benefit from an eccentric lip lift, not a bullhorn lip lift. This does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. This takes 1 hour to perform under local anesthesia and costs $4,000. This will also help the nasolabial fold you dislike.

Hi, thank you for asking this, and I am sorry the folds have affected your confidence. The detail that matters most in your question is "since a child". Nasolabial folds that deepen with age are usually caused by the cheek descending, and repositioning that tissue surgically can soften them. Folds that have been present since childhood are different. They reflect your underlying bone structure, the way your cheek fat is distributed and how your smile muscles attach, and a facelift designed for descent will not remove them. Direct excision of the fold itself leaves a visible scar on the front of the face and is very rarely a good trade. Depending on what an examination shows, options range from careful volume support beside the fold to addressing the underlying skeletal support. Please be examined in person by a facial specialist before agreeing to anything, and ask specifically what is creating the fold in your case. Results vary between individuals and no outcome can ever be guaranteed.
