Is a mini/lower facelift the best option to improve jaw definition at 19?
Hi! I’m 19 years old, and I’ve always been insecure about my jawline. Recently I tried face tape, and I realized how much I liked the sharper, more defined look it gave my jaw. I know that lower facelifts or mini facelifts usually aren’t recommended for someone my age, and I know a lot of people will probably say that my jaw looks fine. But this is a personal preference, and it’s something that’s bothered me since I was very young. I’m 5’1” and around 101 pounds, so I don’t think it’s related to my weight. I originally looked into neck/chin liposuction, but I’m not sure I’d be a good candidate because I feel like this is jowls + skin laxity related because my mom and grandma both have the same fullness under their jaw. I think it’s skin laxity or genetic rather than just fat. I was wondering if, given my age and concerns, if there was a surgeon who would consider performing a lower or mini facelift on someone like me, or if you think there are other procedures that would be more appropriate!
