Hi rhonda2656, your love handles will shape nicely with fat removal-either Coolsculpting or liposuction. The indentation below the belly button will need to be surgically released and the tissue advanced downward to smooth it out (scar will be like a C section scar with a mini tuck),however your will get the best contouring of both upper and lower abdomen if you do a full tuck-your muscles will also be addressed and you will get the most flattening and reshaping of the belly button. Liposuction of the abdomen, hips and waist with a mini-tummy tuck will address your concerns and maximize your mid-section rejuvenation. Of course there are other options such as full abdominoplasty, but it looks like your abdominal muscles are flat, so this is not much of a concern in your case. Umbilical transposition is also a consideration, but it looks like the skin above your belly button has good elasticity and no stretch marks so your skin will retract nicely. Based on your picture you may get significant improvement with a mini tummy tuck alone. A mini tummy tuck address skin laxity below the belly button while a full tummy tuck addresses skin and fat in a more comprehensive manner. As you have notable bulging and excess skin below your belly button, the mini might suffice. Coupling this procedure with strategic liposuction to your flanks and back may provide optimal results.

Your photos suggest you need a standard abdominoplasty (longer scar than mini tummy tuck), rectus plication and liposuction. An in person exam is necessary to determine which abdominoplasty technique is best suited for your body. Best of luck!

It is very likely, based on these photos, that a combination of agressive liposuction and skin tightening like with J Plasma (Renuvion) technique, may be a good solution for your condition. Thank you for your question and series of photographs.  Nothing replaces an in-person examination, but I think you would most benefit from a full tummy tuck and liposuction of your waist and flanks.  The tummy tuck will tighten your stomach muscles, helping to achieve a flatter appearance, while removing excess skin and adipose tissue.  Liposuction can be used to enhance your tummy tuck results by narrowing your waist and removing isolated areas of diet and exercise resistant fat.  I would favor the full approach because it appears that your skin and muscle laxity is present above and below your belly button. Hope that this helps

I would suggest doing liposuction of your lower abdomen and flank areas first to see if that will remove the excess fat and give you a smoother contour.
