How much does ear cartilage reabsorb and do I need revision rhinoplasty to further augment tip? (photos)

Asked By:Ronni3 in Hong Kong

I'm a 35-yr-old Asian male. I underwent Rhino with ear cartilage 4 months ago. I noticed that my nose is becoming progressively shorter and the tip has begun to point downwards. My doctor said this is expected reabsorption during the first six months. Given where I am now, how much further change in my nose shape should I expect? Do I need a revision to raise my tip if the ultimate results are not satisfying? Is it possible to simply add another layer of cartilage over the initial grafts?
