Redness and blisters after transconjunctival blepharoplasty 9 days ago. What can I do about it? (Photo)

First it is important to ensure you are not suffering from an allergic reaction to any topical ointments being placed on your eye.  This is a common reaction in eyelid surgery.  Discuss with your surgeon to see if starting an oral steroid would be beneficial.  

While it may be normal to have some redness and irritation during the healing process, I would suggest you follow-up with your surgeon for an in person examination so that he/she can evaluate you and treat you should there be a need to do so.

It doesn't look that you have any blisters on the skin but appearance of the eyelids and redness may be associated with local infection. Antibiotic and corticosteroid treatment should be considered? You should discuss this issue with your surgeon ASAP or consider second opinion. Good luck.

You are still very early in the healing phase, and this looks like a swollen medial fat pad.  Swelling post-op can give a "blister" like appearance to this very thin skin.  As the inflammation goes away this should look more normal.  

Although you are still early in the post surgical period, this does not look normal for nine days out. I suggest you go back to have a discussion with your plastic surgeon, and potentially see an ophthalmologist just to examine your eyes as well. A short course of steroids or antibiotics may be necessary. It is hard to make a clinical judgment from the photo provided. However, I would agree that it does not look very typical for nine days after surgery.

You need opth. examination to rule out post operative blepharitis. The swelling could be expected but the red dis coloration is of concern. Blisters are hard to see in the one posted photo. This need attention. 

Dear Fierce1059, I would see your surgeon for a follow up appointment. You have excessive swelling for nine days post surgery. Generally this area may still have some redness or bruising however the contour should be smooth.
