Thank you for your question. Please always consult with your Plastic Surgeon as to when you are required to take the steri strips off. After surgery, a follow-up appointment should be made 5 to 7 days to ensure healing is where it should be. Make sure you go back to your surgery and find out as you do not want the result to be affected by leaving the strips on for too long. Please do not attempt to remove yourself.Good luck.

As noted below you have options with regards to scar revision and postoperative laser treatment to try to get the redness to resolve quicker. I would follow with your surgeon to see if they are comfortable with revision prior to 6 months. Best of luck.
It is difficult to say if this is a dramatic change without any preoperative photo. That being said your lids are still swollen and will likely continue to improve over the next several weeks. Please follow closely with your surgeon as they can advise you best how to insure proper healing.
