Should you allow a mole removal to air with no band-aid at night after 4 weeks? (photo)

It is perfectly acceptable to leave this area open to air without ointment.  I would recommend that you at least call your provider who removed the lesion to let him/her know it is still open just to make sure he/she doesn't have any concerns.  Based on the pathology of what was removed it is important to make sure it was removed in its entirety and has not returned.  
Not everyone is a good candidate for this treatment so please see a Board Certified or Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon to evaluate if you may benefit. Good luck!
