Will mole removal leave me with big scar?

The mole depicted in the pictures provided is in a favorable location to be removed surgically and "disguised" in your nasolabial fold or "smile line."  This may be best seen in picture 3 above. I suspect that most plastic surgeons will offer you a surgical mole removal under local anesthesia. Keep in mind that a scar will never be "invisible" but its possible to hide the incision in natural skin lines to minimize its visibility. 
Not everyone is a good candidate for this treatment so please see a Board Certified or Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon to evaluate if you may benefit. Good luck!

Moles can be removed with minimal scarring with laser, radiowave or shave. Scarring can be improved with lasers and microneedling/prp. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

A combination of shave removal and V-Beam laser would be best to remove this mole without any scars and residual pigmentation.  Please consult an expert in mole removals for the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green
