I have a light burning feeling where my stitches are? Butt augmentation with implants.

Burning feeling over suture line is not a good sign as it is demonstrating increased tension; this is why we utilize two separate incisions for each buttocks implant; if there is any drainage, I would have this cultured to guide a few days of antibiotics. Try to minimize tension on the incision line such as avoiding sitting, etc.

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Tenderness, burning, or other sensations at the surgical site and / or incision is typical. I would not be overly concerned at this point, unless the pain worsens, the skin becomes inflammed / warm / red, or you start running a temperature. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up with your surgeon immediately. Good luck!
