While it’s theoretically possible that your implant could be seated with bacteria, contaminated and get infected from neck liposuction it is extremely unlikely and not some thing I think anybody should lose sleep over. your body is formed a substantial scar tissue capsule around the implant and it’s unlikely that Liposuction Cannula will penetrate the capsule. there’s also no indication to remove fat immediately adjacent to where you need volume where the implant was placed. all of this said liposuction delivers permanent results and people do not regrow fat.
Unless you’ve gained weight changes in facial profile encounter are unlikely to be related to fat distribution.
Instead it’s far more likely that the overall size and shape of your mandible is the primary reason and this causes your platysma muscle to drape the neck in a more oblique fashion. secondary neck liposuction typically offers very little improvement over the first procedure.
There are exceptions but usually only in cases where people were grossly under treated during the first round.
Your statement about the facility and implants sounds a little suspect. Make sure your provider is an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon using a fully accredited facility.
The appearance of the lower third of the face and neck is highly dependent on bone structure and in particular the relationship of the mandible to the Maxilla.
At least 95% of individuals who seek chin and neck liposuction have an under developed mandible.A chin implant will augment the tip, mentalis or chin part of the mandible but has no impact on the rest of the mandible itself like the body of the mandible which is most likely insufficient in your case.
Consider consulting with a few oral surgeons who tend to be a little better at understanding the root cause for patients who are frustrated with the lack of results from soft tissue manipulation in this area.

Infection after submental liposuction is rare. As your chin implant is encased in a fibrous capsule, it is physically separated from the proposed area of liposuction.
Even if a combination chin implant / liposuction procedure is performed together, the infection risk remains extremely low.
