3 wks post Rhino to remove a dorsal hump and stop the tip from dropping when smiling as well as Sinus surgery and i still have a very prominent dorsal hump (not near as large as pre-surgery but not the results i was hoping for). I am concerned whether this will be permanent or is just swelling from the rasping of the bone. When the cast came off, the bridge was basically straight. now the bump seems to be getting larger almost and is hard to the touch. surgeon already mentioned revision

Thanks for your question. Blue stitches are usually permanent stitches, and we usually use these permanent stitches to hold cartilages together for structural alterations to your nasal skeleton. This seems especially true given that pulling on it makes the opposite side move....
