Hello,Thanks for you question. Without seeing your nose it would be difficult to answer your question in specific detail. Yes, solid rib can be used to augment the radix area and septum/ear can be used elsewhere, but why create so many donor sites? I prefer to use cadaver rib because I don't have to create a donor site on your chest. I avoid solid rib, instead opting to create bridge fill with a DCF graft. With cadaver rib, I have all the cartilage I need to revise and support a nose. Solid rib graft is fixated with K-wires, not screws because screws strip. Warping is reduced, but not prevented completely unfortunately, by specific cartilage cutting techniques. What type of revision are you seeking? Any patient who wants to dictate how a revision rhinoplasty procedure should be done is making a terrible mistake. For many years I've said pick the surgeon, not the technique. An experienced surgeon always wants the patient's imput re the goals of a procedure but not how to get there.
