Can my high nose bridge be lowered? (photos)

Question

I love the look of lower nose bridges. Especially when there's a feminine slope (not quite ski jump but almost). I think it makes the nose look shorter too. Is it possible to lower my nose bridge and would it fit my face? I'd also want the tip shortened to fit the lower bridge look. I included a collage of my nose as is, the place I want the bridge to start and an edited look from an app. The second collage pic is just my face from different angles. Thank you!

Your assessment is very accurate for the nasal bridge and in general terms ultrasonic liposuction is in my opinion able to deliver more reliably this type of change.

If the nasal bridge projection is reduced in the upper third it often creates the impression that the tip is slightly more projected. This is generally counteracted by changing slightly the position of the tip defining points and placing them higher. This is not captured in your simulation, and on three-quarter view it can produce the impression that the nose is slightly more elongated.

An evaluation of the combined effects of such changes can be done more in-depth using 3D imaging and computer simulation.

Thank you for your question and photo. You are a great Candidate for Rhinoplasty, surgical instruments known as rasps and osteotomies (hammer and chisel) are used to reshape the nasal bones by removing the hump and/or narrowing the nasal bone width. These tools are relatively imprecise and their use can lead to contour irregularities, etc. if not used in the proper manner. Recently, a technology that uses sound waves has been developed to contour nasal bones in a precise and far less traumatic way when compared to traditional techniques. Ultrasonic, or Piezo, Rhinoplasty is now the most advanced technology available for minimally traumatic nasal bone reshaping and hump removal during Rhinoplasty. There will be hardly any bruising and swelling which will make the recovery period a lot easier for the patient.

There are many things that can be done to the nose. Your goals appear to be reasonable so it is important to communicate these with your surgeon during your consultation. A good rhinoplasty surgeon should be able to explain how to get there.

In the frontal area, an angulation at the level of both pupils is required, this can be done best with letdown rhinoplasty. A brige without a slide but a slightly angled and beautiful nose can be obtained. Yes it is possible.
