Indent on nose, my left side, best way to correct or hide it? Has been like this for about a year+ got more noticeable (Photo)

Question

So I’m not really sure what caused it if you have any ideas please share because I’m kinda confused how this would happpen. I did have my nose pierced on this side for a few years so maybe it’s from that? I would also like to know how to make it less noticeable will fillers work or do I need a rhinoplasty.. My other side has it slightly, natural shaping but my left side it’s like a circle! Some lighting shows it more and it doesn’t bend the same as the other side if I squeeze it less flexible.

Fillers can be used in the nose to improve issues such as asymmetries and indentations. You may likely benefit from fillers injections to your nose for your problems as well. Dear Josie Taylor, First, very importantly is a really good physical exam by a board-certified expert (this being a Facial Plastic Surgeon or a General Plastic Surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty).  Likely, you have a few different options for the dent, but these will depend on what seems to have changed for you nose. Based off your pictures, you would be an ideal candidate for a non-surgical rhinoplasty. This procedure uses dermal filler to contour the nose which will make it look more symmetrical. I prefer to use Restylane Lyft and a microcannula for the injection. I highly recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon for an in-person examination.

I think fillers are a good first step.  If done well by an experienced injector the dent can be camouflaged. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist in your area.
