I have gained 16 pound in the last year I am 61 years old I have extreme back fat and under my arms and on my breast sides my right side is getting larger then left I am so uncomfortable and embarrassed can do lipo to remove the fat I am in las vegas Nevada

Answer: Body recontouring after 16 pounds of weight gain. Each area in question would have to be evaluated to determine the potential benefits of liposuction. Older patients do not have the elasticity in the skin to accommodate the reduction in volume created by liposuction which can create a secondary aesthetic issue. Liposuction will also not remove 16 pounds of fat.
