32 days post-op of TT with MR. Day 8, had both drains removed. Had swelling from naval to incision. At post-op visit #2 (2wks after onset), he decided I had a hematoma d/t arterial bleed from drain removal. Surgeon aspirated with little success. I returned 10 days later. Edema is not better so I asked about evacuation. Will re-evaluate in 2 weeks, when he will aspirate or schedule evacuation with irrigation & drain placement. Risk for repeat complications? Recovery time?
