I think that you would benefit from a lift.  Whether or not you wanted an implant as well depends on the volume and the look that you would like to achieve.  From the example pictures you have shown it appears that you would like larger fuller breasts with the nipple and areola lifted into a more ideal position on the breast.  This means a lift and implants would be necessary as you have been recommended.If you are really unsure about what to do, a safe option is to perform a lift first and see if you happy with the results.  If not, then an implant can be easily performed at a second stage.  This obviously means two operations but will ensure that you are happy with your final results.  You may find after just a lift that you have what you want - natural perky breasts, even if not quite as large as in the example photos.If you are unsure, you should definitely go back to see your surgeon to talk things over again and make sure you are happy with your surgical plan.Kind regards,Dean

Thank you for your question.  This is a very common question and what you are wanting to achieve is possible. You have two options as your plastic surgeon probably already discussed with you.  The first is that you can do a lift which will improve the overall shape of the breast giving you a more youthful appearance.  They may be "pointy" for a short while but they will not stay like that over time as the swelling decrease and they take their final shape.  The second option is to do a breast lift in combination with an implant.  The use of the implant will increase the upper pole fullness of your breast.  If you just want to improve your shape you can accomplish this with a lift and no implant.  With just a lift and no implant you will have a very natural appearing breast.  I hope this helps.  Johnny Franco MDMiami Plastic Surgery

It is reasonable to expect that your breasts will have the nipple in a natural position and the implant will give volume.  The pictures of you show that you are a good candidate for a lift and possible implant.  If you like your current size a lift alone may suffice.  See a board certified plastic surgeon to have a full evaluation.  Good luck!

Based on your photographs a breast lift certainly is needed to improve the shape and reduce the sagging of your breasts.  Based on the photographs to show of your desired result he would most likely need breast implants as well to fill the breast and increase fullness both towards the center and out towards the arm.Of course you need a formal in person consultation and opinion of a board certified plastic surgeon for the best advice.
